Dom is absolute s*** as an 8. Allergic to tackling, positioning is non existent, but loves to play as an 8. So we're now stuck with him there How do you fit Gakpo and Barcola in a 352?

Doing it once every 3 games is not good enough. Its an issue if its not happening consistently because Ive seen him struggle with the same s*** since hes been here. If hes doing it in midweek but struggling today and in the next game then again it emphasizes my point, its s*** that he controls. Im not ignoring his good performances, i praised him here numerous times during that game and after it. Hes got to take accountability and get some consistency in areas that he influences and only he can control.

People are using Coutinho as an example because of size and position. Yes we moved him on eventually but its not like we didnt have him impact games with his ability prior to that. He came into an awful Rodgers team as a teenager basically, he wasnt bullied on the ball, he didnt need months or years to impact games.

What you say about the team isnt wrong.However we arent saying that Wirtz is the issue for the team being sjit We are talking about performances from individuals after a match, one of them is Wirtz.Again as I said previously, there are things that he can control and improve even with the team having all the issues you mentioned. We can talk about both things, both things can exist. we have issues as a team systematically due to the players we have and Wirtz can improve areas that he can control. If not Jurgen and Jesus Christ combined cannot do that for him, in this league he will be toast.

People comment in a match thread based on what they see, its not coming out of thin air. Plenty here myself included have singled out Grav,Frimpong and others who were s*** today. Wirtz also cost 100 million, rightly/wrongly people will have expectations based on prices paid for players
