If you didn't believe before, you should be ashamed if you don't start now. The amount of fight, character and determination this side has, top to bottom, is amazing. What a performance, the most satisfying win of the season for me. Our press was fantastic from the start, we just needed to execute the final pass better in the final third following that first half. What a glorious day. -

David Lynch confirming that Mo and Darwin are out for tonight -
Sacking a manager on average once every year almost is a problem, high standards or not.

Age has nothing to do with it unfortunately, he's prone to injuries. Not all player are built the same. -

We had a full side out at their place and we struggled. No easy games, especially when options are minimal on the bench -
Guaranteed titles and regular CL challenges, don't mean much if you're a few bad results away from being sacked. They have no stability for managers, in most cases their dressing room is poison, there's always key players who go against the grain and cause issues by leaking whatever issues are transpiring The last manager who lasted there more than 2 years, was Guardiola [and he left after 3]. In fact, the only manager who has gone more than 3 years managing them, was Hitzfeld [from 98 to 04]. They've changed managers 15 times since then. In my view, the Bayern job will be easier to get, whenever he wants it, while we are more of a rare opportunity because more often than not, we give managers time more so than any other club . I seriously doubt it.

Don't care what the score is as long as we win, any means necessary -
The most difficult league to compete in, is in England. Anything he may done with Bayern wont mean as much, if he already accomplishes it with Leverkusen this year. [Kovac won the league title with them, and he's not even a footnote in their history]

The good thing is, they also play Arsenal

Just a bleeding shame we have 80210 injuries at the moment.

From the embargo presser "It is day by day as well with Mo," Klopp confirmed. "It's a similar area where he feels it (fatigue) a little bit. We have to see how it develops. It's nothing crazy, but we have to see." Darwin Núñez is expected to be available against Luton after being withdrawn as a precaution at half-time on Saturday On Nunez, who was brought off for Cody Gakpo at half-time on Saturday after a minor complaint, Klopp added: "The problem at Brentford was that we had changed already twice (through injuries to Jota and Curtis Jones) and if we let him play a little bit longer and say 'OK how does it feel now?' "That could have been it so we had to take the decision at half-time so we had another opportunity to change in the second half. He felt that in that game and there was nothing around. How we said we go day by day and today (Tuesday) we didn’t train. We will see. "Look, the situation we have in the Premier League - where pretty much the competition we are in [means] each game is a final - there is no game where you can say lets have a look at how the others play at the weekend and if we lose it might be all right. "We cannot see it like that, for us it is game by game who is available and then use them in the best possible way there is no other chance. If [Nunez] was fully fit there is no reason to keep him out and no chance for us. That is it as well." -

Are we in a football version of Black Mirror? -
It's a blow for the City game alone, the rest we should be able to handle.

Supposedly the Brazilian manager has said Ali is out for their friendlies at end of March, so thats probably why that timeframe is being mentioned on other places

I'm not sure how you're perceiving it as fishy. He was ill, as were other players v Burnley, and he proceeded to pull his hamstring the day before the game. Why would there be interrogation, the training session occured after his Brentford presser -

Per Jurgen - Jota out for month[s] - Curtis, too early to tell, could be weeks - No mention of Salah, Diaz, but did say some players are day to day - No return date for Ali - Trent and Dom progressing but not in team training yet -
"Yet both had arrived at similar conclusions. Whereas decisions around recruitment were consensus-driven before, now Jurgen Klopp’s power was increasing." "The timing of this conversation not only reflects the condition of Edwards’ relationship with Klopp, it shows where Liverpool are in this process" "Ultimately, the appointment of Schmadtke, who shares an agent with Klopp, as a stop-gap confirmed Liverpool as a manager-led operation." All this reads to me are jabs as , Klopp being on a power trip, having more influence, Edwards leaving because of Klopp and the club willing to go back to Edwards because Klopp is no longer going to be there
