Aiming for better is fine, but those that would be better, aren't available. For all of Jota's production, he's had streaks where he hasn't scored in months, that aside, he's prone to 1 injury that keeps him out for several months a year. Darwin is a 9, he isn't a left sided winger like Diaz.

Compared to other players in his position, they aren't that many players better

Assists are also entirely dependent on the other player scoring obviously. If you look at chances created, Diaz is 4th in the team, behind Dom,Trent and Salah. So he's doing more in that department than Darwin and Jota

It's not like he's not scoring ? He's got 10 goals overall, and probably will finish with a few more before it's all said and done. How many left sided forwards are out there, that are doing it at a similar level, that would be available? Kvaratshkelia for instance is a fantastic young talent, had a great season last year, but even at his best last year, he had 14 goals, 10 assists overall. This year he's had a significantly worse season, 6 goals and 3 assists. Diaz, had a significant knee injury and usually takes about a year or so before players get back up to speed post injury. I think he gets probably another year here, before we consider moving him on.

The Mancs play each other as well, and as useless as the Red Mancs are, they have had wins at the Emptyhad in recent years.
