  1. I hope it proves to be wrong tomorrow, I'd love to keep macca on the bench honestly. City are resting half their side tonight
  2. It's been the case since Klopps been the manager at least, its been true in every European fixture we've played in. I've specifically paid attention to it once I've started noticing the last 4 years at least.
  3. Macca doing the presser, he's starting tomorrow then.
  4. No Danns in training
  5. Mo is in training, warming up currently with the rest of the lads.
  6. They could by the end of the month but they aren't going to steal third from anyone, they have to play us, City, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea. And considering they lost to the bang average Mancs, as impressive as they can be, they can equally drop points against sides they shouldn't. They're also in the conference league, they don't have the depth to sustain form.
  7. 3-0. I'm glad they're going through. Better for one of Arsenal/City to face them, than a total walkover [Lazio]
  8. I agree, I don't think theres a back four that can deal with him in europe let alone the league. He will get a chance, he just needs to take it
  9. He is for sure more physical but he will need to be better on the ball in possession, we cant afford to be careless against them in transition. He has a tendency to be a bit reckless with the ball
  10. Yes, Fabinho and Thiago were the double pivot. I think gakpo has looked to tired as of late. You can play Dom in salah's absence, its his natural position, and have eliott in midfield with endo and macca.
  11. Yeah if Mo is not in training today, it doesn't mean for sure he isn't ready for Sunday. There are plenty of training sessions before then
  12. Some twitter rumours I'm forcing into existence
  13. I don't think its as simple as beating City and we win the title, we have several difficult games to navigate in the run in. It helps massively, and it puts things more in our hands, but it means fck all if we cant for instance beat the Mancs or Bitters away.
  14. Maybe, but Diaz is in fine form at the moment, Darwin is a game changer, and Mo is Mo. If Diaz was out of form, I'd agree for sure when it comes to Jota. Jones is an argument, but it's not a drop off to have Endo,Macca and Dom in midfield.
  15. We have Szobo,Nunez and looks like Salah is back in training today, back. I think they all start Sunday. It's the best we can put out, bar Trent and Ali.
  16. If City are going to drop points it's in this run of fixtures they're on now [playing us,Arsenal and Villa consecutively]. After that, I think they will win out, although Spurs for whatever reason have been able to get results from them. We cant lose to them on Sunday, a draw isn't the end of the world but then things aren't much in our hands [lets say we draw against them, but Arsenal beating them the following week, sees Arsenal overtake us]
  17. We were poor but we also had key players missing or just getting back to fitness. the biggest frustration is the game at Anfield, because we had a chance to score and win, and weren't rewarded a penalty.
  18. We got Sheffield at Anfield as well, so we can improve our GD too
  19. Wage bill was brought up as if to suggest he's done a great job at spending less. That's not the full picture. They aren't cheats like Abu Dhabi FC, but they've spent tons of money.
  20. We could but they play City the following fixture so means nothing if they don't continue winning.
  21. Our wage bill is high based off the success from the team, they were incentivized contracts. Look at their net spend, look at ours. Arteta is doing a good job, he's not doing it on a shoe string budget however
  22. Well yes because we'd be up against two sides where as we were fighting City. Nobody is saying that they aren't good, but they've gone now 6/7 wins in a row, yet the lead has remained unchanged, with about 11 games left to go. I've seen City make a run like that till the end, and I've seen us go on insane runs, but Arsenal are yet to do that. regardless of goals scored, and wins, there are still 11 games to go.
  23. They've started to be more clinical, where as they werent leading up to the start of this run.
  24. Don't think it's just confidence, they're playing against sides that they should be beating for one, and two, sides that have been piss poor when they've played them.
  25. Saka and Martinelli were products of their youth team, Saliba was signed when he was a youngster. They spent tons of money on Rice,Jesus and Haverz.
