  2. Fair play Ivory Coast, stuck at it despite playing whole 2nd half and ET with 10. Scored last min of stoppage time to force ET then scored last min of ET to avoid a shootout. Few Mali players out of control but they really only have themselves to blame.
  3. Some goal by the Malian to break the deadlock against the Ivorians, commentary said reason he didn't celebrate was because he was born in Ivory Coast......he should've done his homework and checked his wiki page!! There haven't half been some shocks along the way this AFCON.
  4. We're getting Endo back!!!!!!!!!!! Little late with this I know. Starting to think maybe Wilder wasn't the man for Sheffield.

  8. Is he on triple figures for the season yet? The word "potential" in that first sentence really turns my frown downer than down, why couldn't you have said "nailed on first".
  9. Did get ruled out by VAR for offside in the end but the keeping in AFCON never fails to entertain.

  11. What can I say, I've been blessed. All in the genes my man.
  12. That's where you're going wrong in life Molby, more disgusting images and less nice ones.....this is the way. Or you can just combine the 2 together, that works too!
  13. He tried but fair play to the kiddo, he wasn't having any of it....probably why he wasn't included in the group huddle just before kick off....you know like they usually do .
  14. I get they're footballers, it's a different world for them. They're privileged and we should all look up to them as gods and accept it's part of the game, I totally get it. Just like now if the club decide to offer him a new 3-4 year deal, we'd accept it and move on even if it meant we only saw him on the pitch for about 10 games. The club can act as they wish. We've got this far without him, and we haven't needed him. We haven't even missed him but we've still had to endure 11 months of the same boring questions about his fitness. Why we didn't cut ties in the summer lord only knows. The same with Ox and Naby, years too long having to put up with s***. I say thank god not every player are as brittle as them, otherwise we wouldn't even have the game.
  15. Maybe to you but that's just my outlook on the game, it's nothing against the players and to me it doesn't matter who you are. You're paid 100-200k a week to fulfill the responsibilities in your contract so it's incredibly frustrating when that rule keeps getting broken. Nothing more unreliable than someone who's injured for months every single season.
  16. Had maybe less than 10 days off sick in 20 years of work and 5 of those days were down to COVID, 42 hours a week. I would quit my job if I felt for 1 minute I couldn't turn up 50% of the time, what would be the point? Well no employer in their right mind would even employ a person with this kind of track record in the first place, would they? He's missed 2 weeks in 7 seasons, it's slightly different to missing 2 years in under 4 seasons. Only slightly.

  18. Only the 40 odd times in his career, still happily picks up a handsome pay check every week. No sympathy from me I'm afraid. Nothing bugs me more than a sick note waster, like Naby, Ox, Melo, Kewell, Aqua and the rest of them, thank god we'll never have to hear their name spoken about again after the summer.
  19. Can't wait to see him back for the final game of the season when we've already won the title, no thanks to him. .....not.
  20. Love this man right here.
  21. Quansah falls into the Virgil on Gallagher one for me, I don't think they are but you can see why they could/would be given. Virgil on Nkunku I was certain would be given after seeing a replay, so yes I think we got away with 1 there.
  22. See edited post above. (on the last f***ing page......)
  23. Ok, let's then take the pen Quansah gave away at Palace......it's difficult to argue that was anymore of a pen than Chelsea. A lot of similarities can be taken.
  24. The Virgil one kinda reminds me of the foul he got the red for against Isak, Isak acted like he'd been shot too....only different is it's much easier to give those outside the box. We don't need to delude ourselves or twist our minds into a state of denial here because we were clearly the better team and deserved the win but regardless of his dramatic fall, it's a pen. Jota fell dramatically against Newcastle, we ignored it and all agreed at the time it was a pen......same with when Szobo went down against Bournemouth.
  25. If we make this look an easy win, it would send me into the utopian heavens where I'd spend half the day, everyday, having the most vigorous bash and splash until we next play. That's a WHOLE week of bashing and splashing. Only this time it wouldn't be over 1 player, but the WHOLE team. Up the f***ing reds.
