You literally asked to show you a top keeper that misses as many games......I've named you 4 without even having to search. The figures say he's missed 20 games in 6 and a half seasons, what is 3 games a season when he's averaging 45-50? I get how important the guy is, I get it often feels like he's missed far more as a result of this. Goalkeepers get clattered sometimes....every set piece is a chance for someone to clatter into your keeper, sometimes they come out for 50/50's and collide into other players, these things happen. Injuries come in all forms, whether that's due to an accidental self infliction or via a coming together of some sort. It'd be great if players were robots and came away unscathed from everything they did all season round over the span of their careers but it doesn't quite work out that way. Although generally they don't pick up injuries as frequently like outfield players do, they're not really any less prone to injuries than any other player. Goalkeepers in the modern day (especially the current Liverpool way) requires the keeper to do a lot, Ali probably averages more touches than any other keeper in Europe, they're far more active and intense in their training routines and so on.

Petr Cech says hi. Lloris says hi. Courtois is yet to kick a ball for Madrid this season. Nick Pope's missed as many games since November as Ali had his LFC career. Shall I go on?

By this metric then every keeper to have ever put on a pair of gloves gets injured far too much. You're not in the conversation for best keeper in the Prem era and in Liverpool's history if you don't do f***ing anything, let's leave the silly talk at the door.

Does he? What exactly is "far too often" for a keeper seeing as he's missed about 20 games in 5.5 seasons before today (could stretch that to 6.5 if you include his last season at Roma).

You gotta laugh really. Never a dull moment when LFC are the talk of the subject. Hopefully Kelleher builds on his last performance.

Brentford vs Liverpool - Premier League, 17th February @ 12:30pm

Losing any player for any significant length of time is a blow. Less chance of rotation, means someone else could potentially be overplayed and that leads to another injury like we encountered with Baj. However losing Trent at a time when both Conor and Joe are back softens the blow by a tenfold. Excited to see us have some energy and oomph down our right side again. -
More 12:30 kick offs for us, get the f*** in!!!

Pretty much this, the luxury of being the biggest club in the world eh.

No doubt, but coming back to games like Luton earlier in the season.....questions have to be asked, no? Start fast, get an early goal....a lot of the pressure comes off and you can play more freely. -

Did we win it in the 97th min? So why are you asking? Are you telling me we're always expecting to win games in stoppage time now to mask over a terrible first 45? -

You might not care but it matters in the grand scheme of things, games where you come away disappointed with a point or less, because in part you let the game slip away doing naf all for 45mins. Luton is a game we should be putting to bed inside the first 20mins. Middle of February -
Not a bad mother f***ing list I'll give GPT that. It is missing one Jozy Altidore though.

Which tells you what? The guy turned down a f***ing Kingdom and then some in the summer. He knows it's time to really challenge himself and shine in the biggest club playing in the best league in the world.

You're quite right, well spotted. Now go see how many games we've won/turned around in the 2nd half of games, then maybe come back with a valid point? -

Everyone except Kelleher were crap first half. ....this has been happening all season long. -
If you're a top club and you have the chance to sign the best player in the world today on a free....."free", you do everything you can to try make it happen. Adrian, Thiago and Matip already frees up 360k a week in wages......shouldn't be all that difficult to find the rest he'd want, I'm just saying.

Neal Maupay.

Probably, except only this time round they don't know how better equipped we now are. But they soon will STS......they soon will. -
At this point why the c**** don’t just buy the f***ing club is a mystery to me. They pipped their current head of recruitment from Brighton last summer too, or may’ve been the summer before.

Tuchel is clearly a capable manager, he had a brilliant spell with Chelsea and then got the boot because he's known to be a bit of a meth head and regularly goes off on one and talks himself into the sack. Before that he had a bit of a free ride at PSG winning the formulaic treble there (which we all know any half decent manager could do) & spent 2 years at Dortmund as he took a side that'd just finished 7th, to 2nd and 3rd place finishes, so the balloon head clearly knows a thing or 2.

Or as KK would refer to him, Louie. I wouldn't use the same terminology as Kid Klopp used, I don't subscribe to the notion of putting other greats down who have played for the club even if it's just for effect to laud how good a player another was for us but yes it's Suarez is arguably only 2nd to Gerrard when anyone mentions the best players to have played at the club.

They all wanna be like our Darwin! I don't blame them.

Between the 2 away sides today, they've had 26 shots and 0 on target

Barcola is some talent, thought it was Mbappe chasing his own heavy touch before poking it past the keeper. Electric.
