I agree with lots of it and think it's something one of us would have written (that's meant to be a compliment about how his position reflects that of the fans), Gerrard was other level good y'day.
Surely it's worse to have a manager who you have told everyone that you are sacking than backing him and then sacking him when you were going to sack him anyway.
That is full of so much rubbish. Just admit that your man is awful. We're not going to stand there and let a man destroy what this club has fought to build. Lowering expectations, disrepecting fans and just performing atrociously badly in a job which he is not qualified to do.
It would literally be impossible to keep him on. I'd set up AFC Liverpool or something but I'm not really one of those get up and do anything about anything type of fans or even people. But boy will I take my internet wisecracking to another level and that's not something Fenway are going to want to deal with.
During his interview for the papers last night he actually stopped mid way and said " I don't want to use the word disappointment again. give me another word"
Exceptional circumstance. Of course we've had a Liverpool Way. We've always had boss managers (Souness aside who was a playing legend). We've never been confronted with this before.
I genuinely think it may happen to this time. You wake up in the states, read the result and think "We lost to WHO?". They were the ones who said they demanded immediate improvement after Newcastle. We literally got worse immediately.
None of it. Literally none of it is Hodgson's fault. How could it be. He's playing with 2 strikers, gerrard in central midfield, not bringing everyone back for corners and not zonal marking. You automatically win games if you do all those things.
yeah. and gray was really derisory of the desire of some to have benitez back. the players were blamed which is fair enough but the manager was not given a single bit of blame
yeah it's just bizarre the way Gray and co will watch a bad performance, call it a bad performance and then distsnce the manager completely from it. just f*cking odd.
Ah it's not man. That won't even make a trickle with the media or board. We'll be the only ones in a lather. He's deffo gone mind but it's just a case of when.
I was pretty passive. C'mon man. We lost to Blackpool. That was the one which showed that anything was possible with this guy. That performance was so phenomenally clueless. I couldn't get angry. We all know how bad we think the manager is and that show out there was just his ability in the form of a performance on a footy pitch. There was nothing to be surprised by. That is his ability level right there.
