Im torn on Sterling starting this. Part of me thinks he should get a game against lesser opposition, the other part thinks that he should be starting against Arsenal.

think it would be a big mistake to choose the next game to drop skrtel, as itll just look like hes been pushed out for his mistake which wont do a lot for his confidence. Agger and Skrtel to start.

really happy with that, mistakes aside obviously. kelly, borini, shelvey, sterling, allen and coates all 22 or under. borini just looks like a kuyt regen really, and we need some sort of poacher type striker in. the passing and movement is really good though, and theres still sahin to add into that. things arent looking terrible. no agger or lucas today as well remember.

our fluidity today relied on three mobile forwards. as soon as carroll starts we lose that. we've seen that before.

Good first half. Impressed with Allen and, of course, Sterling. Our team is quite young as well, and we are managing this WITHOUT Lucas. Incredible really. All of Allen, Borini, Kelly, Sterling, Coates, Shelvey under 23, and Gerrard the only player over 30.
