Why? just because he hasn't been announced yet. The Rodgers thing cam mainly from the Swanseas side. LVG is currently not working so could easily have been helping FSg for a while now. FWIW a few days some Dutch websites are saying LVG has told friends he's joining LFC. Coul very well be that when Rodgers is officially announced by us. a Sporting director/technical director and statisticain will also be unveiled.

do you really think ,that for a club outside the CL, £20m on Downing, £16m on Henderson, £7million on Adam, £7million on Enrique and whatever was spent on Coates suggests that they aren't prepared to invest? It maybe says they trusted some of the people at the club too much in their judgement and valuation of players, but to me it doesn't suggest that they will not necessarily invest.
