Call me melodramatic, but if they completely ignore Rafa in this process I'll feel cheated. This to me is a dereliction of duty in their ownership of the club. At the base level we must surely aspire for the best, and whilst that may be what their intention is, ignoring one of the best (and most wanted) managers who lives a few miles away and is out of work is criminal. To not talk to him, not even attempt to glean some knowledge. It's the business equivalent of cutting your nose off to spite your face. The only reason this decision can be arrived at is through existing and influential relationships. There is no other way they could possibly not want to speak to him, and that makes me feel sick that people at the club must surely have existing agendas that can possibly make the clubs success more of a gamble than it needs to be. I'll support the club no matter what, but I wish the club would support the fans more than appear to, by getting rid of our 'heart and soul', and ignoring the second best thing a few miles down the road. Hopefully, it's all been done 'The Liverpool Way', and Rafa will be mounting up on his elephant come Tuesday morning. JQB
