I know Benitez knows a lot more about football than i do, but sometimes you wonder what the hell is going on. I dont see the point in playing Lucas when he does f*** alll, he cant run at players because he is so slow, and he can only pass the ball backwards or to mascherano. Benayoun does a lot more than lucas does. Playing 4 2 3 1 means that we have to sacrifice benayoun to kuyt, who is actually a centre forward. So i feel we would be a much better team if we played 4 4 2, having Reina-Johnson-Carragher-Skrtel-Aurelio-Benayoun-Gerrard-Mascherano-Kuyt-Torres. Against Chelsea and Fiorentina, it was horrificly boring to watch, the long ball up to torres everytime, i mean torres is class, but he cant do it all himself, even when he did win it there was no optiions. We would be a quality side if we played 4 4 2. But under Benitez i know this will probably never happen as he is too afraid to take a risk, he doesnt like letting goals in but who does? We may let in 1 or 2 with this formation but think about how many goals you could score with this formation, and with Mascherano screening the defence we probably wont let in any at all, and with reina in goal. As much as i hate Ferguson, at least he takes a risk and thats why he has won the league as many times as he has.

Whilst Aquilani is out. I dont think he should play when mascherano is fit, it should be gerrard and mascherano in the centre of midfield and difk kuyt and torres up front or kuyt on the right and benayoun behind the striker like yesterday, if mascherano is injured they should use lucas.

But we have also sold alonso for 30 million, arbeloa for 3.5 million and Leto for like 1 mllion, so we ve sold players for 34.5 million and bought them for 35, so we ve pretty much balanced our books.
