Wouldn't it be great if this team could play against the Mancs and we let the Boro play our game against Newcastle........
-
For me he's a top player but what spoils it for me is that he seems to believe that the cheating and verbals are just another aspect of his game. After he's dived he'll extend the hand of friendship to the opposing player, which he did several times to Carra last night. As RP said earlier, if Chelsea fans feel fine about this way of winning then I guess there's nothing we can do but it wouldn't work for me. In recent times the only player I can think of in our team who had the same problem was Luis and there has been the odd occasion when Stevie has "tumbled". But with Chelsea it seems to be most of the team and why referees fall for it so often beats me.
-
We did happen to listen a little last night on the way home and the only comfort is that he seems to attract similar knobs on the phone. Shame really as the game really merited some good coverage but I guess it's all about ratings.
-
People say that the more times you say that you're going to win, the more you tend to convince yourself that you will; are these our "mind games"? It always amuses me to go to Chelsea as they really arer so dumb, just don't get us and I doubt whether they ever will. When we turned to applaud them after they went 3-1 up in the CL semi last year, they just continued to abuse us and didn't realise the respectful poignancy of the moment. So we've expressed our belief that we will overcome this deficit and that's all the pundits seem to talk about now because they just aren't prepared to put their necks on the line and bet against us any more. So tomorrow I will be there but not expecting to witness a miracle (although I wouldn't complain), I'll be there to show support for the team's fight to overcome these odds and continue to push the Mancs right up to the bitter end of the season. Personally I love the fact that these occasions are unique to Liverpool FC and will always demonstrate why we are unique.
-
Yeah but was it Sky or someone who knows what they're talking about?
