not sure about JLloyd Samuel, reading a Villa forums the other day, they rip him to shreds, reckon he's crap, and ususally underrated players are at least rated by their own teams fans.

 

The likes of Harewood, our very own Pepe Reina, Thomas are decent shouts mind.

 

Dunno how underrated Makalele is right now. Maybe he doesn't get the limelight like other Chelsea midfielders, but I don't know of anyone who doesn't think the guy is a class player. He's rated by many as one of Chelsea's most important players along with the likes of Terry, Cech, Dogba and Fat Frank, so I don't think he's underrated at all.

agree with this that, outside of us, Reina and Finnan haven't had the required plaudits.. they've both been immense this season (as Finnan also was last season).. where's Sissoko though?! does anyone outside of Liverpool know he even exists ffs!

 

Makelele is the most over rated under rated player in England (ie - no-one thinks he's under rated as virtually anyone with a right mind knows his worth to the Chelsea team and yet still we see articles or professional comment on tv saying how under rated he is!)

 

Pennant is fkin ace - we should attempt to sign him now..

 

Dawson indeed has been brilliant on the few occasions i've seen him lately..

All good points but I could've written that article. Glad he's noticed Finnan but thats all common sense for a football fan maybe apart from Dawson who is rated highly as a good young centre back by most of the UK, Makelele who has become the most overated underated player and Harewood who had a good start to the season but has Slightly better than Heskey written all over him.

JLloyd is s***, i'd have Baines(wigan) or Taylor(porstmouth) .

 

Arca(sunderland) and Gardner(Bolton) are also better left backs than Samuel.

One of the key players in keeping pompey up imo.

 

He had all but signed for Fulham back in Jan and hadn't played as often under Perrin(sp).

 

I think he'd ve a good signing for us but won't be as cheap as he was then, now that portsmouth have stayed up and seem to have and endless supply of money to buy spurs reserve team.

Makelelelele is just the player most people say is under-rated so they can seem like they understand football, then call Sissoko crap.

 

I wouldn't say Finnan is under-rated either.
