I made an offer on a house that was £40K below the asking price because I believed it was worth the asking minus about £35K worth of work. The agent had a go about his expertise in the area of valuations and his professional opinion being matched by two other agents who had valued the property similarly - basically he got shirty. The vendor turned down the offer in the end anyway under the advice of the numpty agent. That was eight weeks ago. I got a call today - am I still interested in the property at the price I offered as the vendor had had a change of mind.

So 2 months of f*** all interest at the over inflated price finally made someone see the light did it? What an imbecilic bunch.

If I never deal with an estate agent again it will be too soon. Surely its legal to injure them or at least badly damage them a bit?
