From what i have read the a*** are only paying 3.5m up front, so maybe we are not that far off. However, i stick my post in the thread: £13m is a hell of a lot money to spend on a 16 year old, no matter how the deal is structured.

Not really. The kid's so young, it could be paid over the next 10 years. We'll know long before then whether he's good enough.

But this is exactly the point. Its difficult to warrant paying that sort of cash, be it now, or over the next 5 years. Besides, there are other players of similar quality in different leagues and im sure Rafa will find them.

 

 

LeTallec was playing out of skin at that age. Had he done what he did in an english under 17 side then this type of money would have mentioned.
