Manchester City fans and The S*n

There has been a couple posts recently on a City forum I sometimes go on, about their hatred of the S*n (and News or the World), and about boycotting it.

 

What happened with Marc-Viven Foe was something that angered them very much, as did an article in the NOTW this weekend - basically an 'interview' with Anelka, which was actually an article they had re-hashed, misquoting him totally from a French interview, saying he'd said City fans where racially abusing him.

 

I've posted that article from John-Mac on the city forum a couple weeks ago, and it got a good response. With many fans saying they wouldn't touch the rag anyway.

 

Anyway, someone else on the forum has put a link to the HJC website saying maybe they can get in touch if they need any info about boycotts.

 

Horrible scummy paper It'd be fecin great if circulation figures in Manchester started to drop like a stone too.

It makes you sick thinking about what they have said about Hillsborough, and what sickening pictures they produced of Mark Viven Foe (RIP), i remember that night when he collapsed i was numb with sadness how horrifying it was.

 

The S*n corparation should take a long hard look at what s**** they have produced over the years and say, hang on we where wrong.

 

For every sickening picture they have produced, for every lie and slander they have printed they should say sorry.

 

I would like a link to a Man city forum, just express my opinion on it all.

Do you know what would be effin great. When Man City come to Anfield on the 21st August, if both sets of fans had their own 'BOYCOTT THE ***' banners.

 

Is anyone on a City forum or knows any City fans who go away ?

That would be fanbloodytastic. A huge banner in The Kop and a huge banner at their end or maybe " Don't Buy The S*n " with a word in each stand ?

Benitez etc etc she seems to think it's on piccadilly approach? i assume that is the main entrance up from picadilly. Not noticed anything there but assume it's in the office block somewhere?

Yeah, it's the road that leads up from Piccadilly to the station entrance. There are a lot of offices on Piccadilly approach, so I guess it could well be there.

 

 

Did you check out that City forum? I got the email address of someone who helps with one of the supporters clubs and had arranged banners in the past I think. So I will give him a shout this week.

Yeah, it's the road that leads up from Piccadilly to the station entrance. There are a lot of offices on Piccadilly approach, so I guess it could well be there.
