Swan Red Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 So I don't know how newsworthy this is but ignoring for a minute that the police had no regard for Winston Silcott and the two others charged but how little respect did the police force show towards their murdered colleague. I get that they may have actually thought that they had the guilty guys but given the nature of the crime and that enough surfaced 27/8 years later to result in new charges how hard could they have actually tried to get the right people. As an aside do we think the kind of conduct that resulted in the convictions being overturned still goes on and in what contexts.
