Farmer's Tan Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 i recently a purchased a computer from one of those online builders, i ordered a ssd hard drive on it's own. It has 120g of space which i planned on putting my OS and maybe a game or 2 but i have loads of movies and itunes and other crap which i don't think will be able to fit on it so i ordered a regular data hard drive to house all of that. The question is..how do install the data hard drive to act as backup/storage? is it just a case of connecting the main HD to it and using it as master/slave type deal, do i have to install an OS on it in order to be able to store stuff on it, do i have to mess around with the bios? Any info will be greatly appreciated, ty.
