Mac Users!

Hey the misses is having problems with her Mac and thinks she needs to do a system restore/wipe.

 

 

 

How would you go about doing this and one small problem she is a graphic designer and uses her mac for Abobe products which were all brought with a single use (Student) package so if she restores will this all need to be re-purchased?

 

 

Other than that any alternative ideas the system is around 4 years old now running Leopard but its slow and the internet wont work at certain times... whilst i can be sat 2 meters away using the same wifi connection on my good old PC with no issues!
