Thought Meireles did better than that, nicked a lot of ball from Chelsea and worked really hard, his work for the 2nd goal alone should give him at least a 7.

For me, Gerrard should be motm. His captain like performances are magnificent and i respect the man too much. What he brings into the team, no other LFC player can come close.

 

In the first half yesterday he got hold of the middle of the pitch, spraying passes and winning tackles and that gave confidence to all the others around him.

 

I love our captain and dread the day when he has to come out and retire. He s one of our greats alongside Barnes, Rush, Beardo and King Kenny himself

And I thought my ratings were a bit harsh. Gerrard was a bit better than just '1' IMO!
