If f***ing horrible. Can I just say that?

Yes the single tier stand looks great but the massive branding and whoring of anything the club stands for, I would be furious if it was us.

Also WHL has been described thus by Ledley "simpleton" King:

"The current matchday atmosphere is unrivalled, it's electric, players can almost reach out and touch it, The fans have such a key role to play and I'm delighted the new stadium has been designed to maintain that atmosphere. It's what makes Tottenham Hotspur what it is."

You know.... White hart Lane.... that cauldron of atmosphere!

You'd be furious ?

I'd be made up that we actually had owners with the wherewithal to build the f***ing thing.

Its a f***ing disgrace how they have allowed the stadium to slide and L4 area to suffer.

I only want the stadium built if it fits in with a moral standard with the club. I don't want a gaudy eyesore with cartoon liverbirds emblazened all over it. I want a stadium that reflects the morals of the club (something I don't know if the owners have the slightest idea about)

That spurs stadium looks like one giant club shop. Its a homage to how many shirts they will sell, not what football is played there.

to be fair, the L4 area isnt the sole resonsibilty of LFC. the L4 area has been in decline, like many parts of inner city Liverpool for decades, amd thats more down to the council than LFC. expecting a football club to regenerate the area isnt reall fair

I know but when you develop a master plan to redevelop an area that involves such a huge building project, that becomes key to the whole thing. It means that nothing else can take place until that construction project does. You can't put in other infrastructure or businesses can't invest there until they know that the stadium is going ahead.

The council takes responsibility for what went on before, absolutely, but now we are holding up NWDA regenration.

L4 has been getting steadily worse since the late 70's. the council see LFC as nothing more than an easy way out of the years that they have criminally under invested in the area.

I'm not sure about that Wayne. In the late 80s and through most of the nineties it was fairly stable. There were few properties boarded up anyway.

The area has been in steep decline for the last 10 years but i'm not sure you can draw a line of dilapidation back further than that.
