RiP Mary Travers

...many on here won't remember them, but you'll all have heard them. 'If I had a hammer', 'Puff the Magic Dragon' and the anti-war 'Where have all the flowers gone' among others. She died of leukaemia.

 

 

I was amazed to find she was 72 - I can remember in junior school her being the first pop-star I fancied! Great folksy voice and great harmonies, if at times a little twee.
