I know its only a loan but what a fall from grace he has had..

 

Giovanni scored a hat trick for Barcelona in the final game of last season and now 10 months later he is playing in the championship with Ipswich, I can't think of a bigger drop in quality in such a short time..Can anyone??

In fairness, that hat-trick was in a game that was a dead rubber against a team already relegated (I think). He was hyped early on, but I never really saw what the fuss was about when he did break into the Barca 1st team picture. Bojan - though younger - looked a much better bet coming through.
