Fascinating pieces of history though, and the situation LFC and the North of Ireland/Northern Ireland/Ulster/Occupied Six Counties are in almost 100 years later. Who'd a thunk it?

:D I've looked at the heretic Coyles who signed the Covenant before, but that's an excellent find!

 

The whole of the 1911 Census returns for Antrim (including CofI Irish speakers in the Gaeltacht areas of Rathlin and the Glens -- hear the latter dialect here) and Down are searchable on www.census.nationalarchives.ie, by the way.
