i've been asked to write a column by the editor of the paper i've joined, so i've chosen fatherhood as the theme. the brief is to mix personal experiences with experts' advice and to make it light-hearted, but informative.

 

first up is a look at the prospect of fatherhood - how prepared are men for the changes a kid will bring; what advice is available/have you sought; was it a planned pregnancy and how did you react to the news; has the dynamic of your relationship with the mother changed ... all that kind of thing.

 

keen to get a range of views and stories, so thought ynwa might be a good starting point for these
