Family tree

Its my mums 80th next month and I thought I would have a bash at tracing her family tree as there have always been rumours that her family were related to Robert Browning do I wanted to do some digging.

 

I have managed to find out quite a lot from census records but there seem to be all sorts of sites out there offering a wide variety of search facilities all for a price of course. One called www.thegenealogist.co.uk seems to be pretty good.

 

Has anyone done theres and could share some tips and advice?
