holidays in this country

my daughter has a really bad ear infection, the consequence of which means that our booked holiday abroad has gone up in smoke.

 

a friend of ours has log cabin in snowdonia, but to be honest I dont know if the area will be worth going to as we have two kids.

 

does anyone know much about the area? re family excursions ets.

 

are alternatively, anyone own any cottages etc in areas for families?

 

what a downer.
