Personally i dont think he will drop Riise ... i dont know why... just a hunch... and of course he will score our goal in a dramatic tense a**hole cletchingly tight 2nd leg 0-1 Victory...... probibilly....not

I agree. As it stands, we need a pretty special performance to get through. Riise may put in a diabolical performance, or he may put in a fantastic one (about time for a f***ing goal as well). Arbeloa is going to put in a mediocre one for sure, and that won't get us anywhere. Therefore, I would go with Riise.

That's the thing. Babel is effective as a starter. Just standing there he does quite a lot because he keeps the opposition defenders back.

well, if we're gonna field Torres & Crouch upfront w/ Gerrard & Kuyt in support, then that leaves Babel to come in after the hour mark... where he's most effective.

The Torres/Gerrard partnership didn't really work tonight. It's been brilliant though so the big question for Rafa must be Torres/Gerrard or Torres/Crouch?

I think it didn't work because their centre halves were allowed cause GBH to Torres anytime he got near the ball.
