Dissent towards referees

Had a very interesting chat with a Sports Psychologist who is retained by a Premiership club. we got to talking about Mascherano and players showing dissent towards match officials. They were telling me how a policy is now being implemented in several Premiership clubs to talk/train players out of showing dissent and somehow channel that energy in a positive way to help the team rather than waste the energy in a pointless demonstration of frustration/aggression.

 

Anyway, just thought it was very interesting. Unfortunately the wine consumption prevents me from revealing any more details.
