I know I may give out some fairly abusive slagging when it comes to rugby, but the 124 tw*ts that couldn't be bothered to switch their tellies over or off; but are anal enough to spend their precious time e-mailing complaints to the BBC that there's too much sport on the telly; seriously need to wind their necks in.

 

I've spent since 8 this morning replying to appreciation e-mails for the fact the BBC went all-out to secure this year's tournament, so to all you egg-chasers I offer a temporary apology.

 

(I still prefer Rugby League, the Leeds/Melbourne WCFinal was excellent)
