Great tv complaint letter

"Is it possible that you can make the news break during the Bond film slightly longer? I dont think 35 minutes of a break during a film is quite enough to ruin the film entirely.

 

You could have spent at least 5 minutes more discussing how much Northampton council had spent on their xmas decorations. Then i could have switched over and forgotten to come back for the rest of the film.

 

On a serious note:

1. start the film earlier

2. start the film later

3. show the news earlier

4. show the news later.

 

All of the above are extrememly complicated scenarios for the programmers at itv and I would not expect such a massive problem as this to be taken lightly so I expect a scheduling change in 2008 when you show the films again. If you need any help sorting out the above, do not hesitate to ask."
