whats your bandwidth ?

According to this site that measures your bandwidth, mine is

417.96kilobits per second

51.02kilobytes per second

 

I've no idea if this is good or bad but I lose connectivity over the wireless and think a LAN connection must be quicker. Anyone know how quicker it would be ?

I'm considering drilling holes in the walls here and going from wireless to a LAN connection. Its only 1 PC but in a different room from my phone connection.
