A horrible tackle by german keeper Heinz Müller on Geir Ludvig Fevang overshadowed the defeat.

 

 

The keeper did not get penalized.

Horrible – yeah maybe – but the player never had a chance to get the ball – no friggin way. So way doe she go in on the keeper – the keeper has jumped to get the ball knowing that he was going to get the ball and be exposed to the player charging in on him – so he puts his knee up to defend himself. Should happen more often – I’m getting sick of all the snide challenges on players where the player with the ball is clearing it out and the opponent has no hope of getting there in time to challenge for the ball – but is there to catch the player on the follow through. Purely designed to intimidate, harass and injury. f*** em.
