Alun Evans, theres a blast from the past. Great mop of blonde hair, thats the thing I remember most about him. And a heavy weight on his shoulders with that price tag.

Yes - I remember watching him against WBA at Anfield one cold, rainy Tuesday night when Tony Brown scored for Brom, and with about two minutes to go, and the Kemlyn half empty Man of the Match Evans scored a cracker, beating two defenders before sliding it past John Osborne's right hand into the corner. The lad scored some crackers - and unless my memory isn playing tricks, I remember him scoring a hat-trick against Bayern in '71 as well.
