Dress it up whatever way you want, but look at the evidence:

- Masses of people at away games who clearly could not have met the qualifying criteria. What's done about that?

- Anecdotal evidence of postcode/STD code preference to OOT/OOC who are spending a few quid in the club shop

- The "Reds Bar", this really is dipping your toe in touting in my view

- LastMinute.Com packages, you can't tell me their not taking a wedge from these

- Triangle Travel

- Now, these numbers on tickets in the ballot don't seem to be adding up

I know they are running a business, but surely there have got be more wholesome ways of making money than exploiting the very people who can make or break the club.

Would love to know why Triangle Travel had to be present on the day of the Ballot

ALso i think we deserve to know how many tickets went in to the ballot

But i don't suppose i will get any answers

I hope i don't bump into Rick Parry today

What's the Reds Bar?

Hospitality package, you pay double face value on the ticket in return for a programme, a cup of tea, and the pleasure of putting money behind the bar in the Kemlyn. Fantastic.

I'm still trying to get an answer to the fact that for quite a few home gates we get two or three rows of seats in the Upper Tier of the Centenary for away supporters and then, surprise, surprise, they have to call the bizzies in halfway through the match. The cup match against Chelski is a case in point. Admittedly, a lot of them looked suspiciously Russian..... :hmm: The Corporate Dept refuse to comment.

I think his aren't in the reds bar.

Pretty sure his are Upper Centenary which would rule him out, and his tickets go for £1700 or somewhere around that. These would cost about £1235 if done over a season.

Its a disgrace, i cant f*cking believe it. I know 6 people, some of them family members others not and not one of them has got a ticket. In this ballot thingy I was thinking maybe I had a 1 in 2 chance, maybe a 1 in 3 of getting a ticket, and even then a family member might get one, but not one, it stinks, it really does....

I dont want to go spouting that Im a bigger fan than some on here, I support the club when I have the finances to do so, so all in all I go all the home matches whether they be sc***horpe in the first round of the carling cup, to champions league semi finals against chelsea, I've been a season ticket holder with my 2 sons for more than a decade (more than some, less than others) and when I can go to away matches around the country. I just dont see why any loyalty is given to people like me and others on this site that have season tickets for longer and try to get to the games when they can which is an awful lot.

Now Im going to still try to get myself to athens, but what are my chances now, an expensive flight, accomodation there is probably booked out by the club and even then I dont have a ticket so Im going to have to try a tout. Absolutely gutted.

you're right but its the same for most "prestigious" sporting events where demand is greater than supply

what gets me is that travel agents/ticket agents can source these tickets almost at will which suggests there is a definite grey market in these tickets

once that is tolerated then this will happen

as somebody pointed out above there is a real security risk if the wrong two teams end up in the final

play the final as a home and away game anyone?

They're away corporate seats given to the other club, something to do with the Main stand not having the facilities/room to cater for them
