Table of Contents on Word

Trying to print out my thesis, and I've just created and formatted by Table of Contents using the automatic feature in word. BUT, I don't want to print out page numbers on the TOC pages, which word is insisting I do, even if I add a section break and force my page 1 to be page 1, it just numbers the TOC pages 1-6 of their own!! I've tried copying and pasting it into a separate document, but when I try and print, I get "Error! Bookmark not defined" when I try to print.

 

Anyone know how to start page numbers away from the first page, or stop Word automatically updating fields before I start printing?!
