Childhood revisited

The nieces were at ours tonight as my sister and bil are out on the piss. anyway, I happened to have brought Jaws on dvd round and my oldest niece said she'd heard of it and would like to see it. So off I go to bargain booze to get them some sweets and myself a bottle of wine. Got back and Lauren and Ellie had already commandeered my bed so I sat on my computer chair and put the film on.

 

Our Lollie kept asking if it was more scarey than the grudge so I just said to wait and see.

 

Right from the off it was like watching myself as a kid. I always loved Jaws but it scared me alright. They screamed in unison at the bit when the head pops out of the boat - even though I warned them.

 

Anyway they really enjoyed it and it was quite educational as they kept asking questions about what the most dangerous sharks are, where they are, and I even got to explain how and why they attack.
