Seville

I have been invited on a free work jolly to Seville next weekend providing I can get there for under $1000. Surprisingly, transatlantic fare works out fine but flights from London to Seville are astronomical. I know there are a few forumites based out there, and am wondering how easy it is to get to Seville from either Malaga or Jerez. Are there regular train routes? What about other Spanish cities?

 

 

Any advice would be warmly appreciated.
