What 50-50 decision have you made in life ...

For me it was when I was on a Business trip in Denmark years ago (implementing a new system) when two of my colleagues came out to join me. One was this twonk I didn't really really get on with - the other was this woman who was quite arrogant. I was due to fly back home the following day (back to my girlfriend) as my work there was complete. Just before I left, the woman told me that she and the other fellah had had a big argument about on the way over to Copenhagen and she begged me to stay for a couple more days to "mediate" while we finished the deal.

I VERY reluctantly agreed, and in that 48 hours, I got to know her very well (Not in THAT way) and it turned out that when I did fly out a couple of days later I was missing her much more than I was looking forward to meeting my girlfriend.

Eight years later we've been married for four years, am very very happy with life, and I'm a proud stepfather to our kids.

If I'd flown back to England? - Who knows what would have happened....
