Fake accents

I run into people that I've known for years and all of the sudden, they're from F##king Alabama? NO YOU'RE NOT! You're from Oregon, born in Oregon and never left the Northwest. I've been to Boston, do I say "Baastan"? No. I've been to Texas, do I drawl? No.

 

It's really bad with people that live in rural areas and dress like cowboys. I'm even hearing people in the city do it. For some reason, it's always southern accents.
