Just saw the movie by Terence Malick......the one with Colin Farrell.....serves me right for watching any movie with him in it. What a pretentious POS, shots of grassland, trees and sky intermingled with a few shots of actual story followed by ten minutes of prancing through grassland in a style not too dissimilar to Hindi movies. I commented that this movie reminded me of another bizarre flick .....the Thin Red Line......well guess who directed that one. Colin Farrell as a professional English soldier in the 1600 with an Irish accent and an earring is hard to take seriously. Anything in this movie is hard to take seriously........2 and half hours of hell that I wouldnt wish on Osama himself. And yet I couldn't turn it off cause I was with a group of people.......all of us suffering in our misery yet none willing to end it in the hope that there would be some redeeming feature..........
