Books for Christmas

I like to give and receive books for Christmas. It's a good time to catch up on some reading and was wondering if there are any I should be putting on my list for this year. While not totally unkeen on fiction, I do prefer non-fiction books, specifically travel and biographies.

 

So far, a few people will be receiving Paul Theroux's "Dark Star Safari" which is the best book I've read all year and I will be getting myself "An Anatomy of South Africa - Who holds the power?" by Richard Calland.
