Anyone on here been Home Schooled?

and had to/wanted to Home School a child, but I was wondering whether anyone had been through it as a kid?

 

I would be very interested in your experiences, especially if you have reached the point where Tertiary Education has become/became relevent.

 

My own nipper had almost one full year's experience at home before going back into mainstream ed. He seemed to come out of it okay and has gone on to be a very active member of his Secondary School. But then again, his experience is/was in so many ways unusual that I can't base much on what has happened to him.

 

I would truly value any sharings on this topic.
