I'm just amazed that people buy these things. Surely the types who follow the "authors" with such reverence are too thick to put much store in reading in the first place?

Books that can be burnt without a trip to hell for the burner:

- Autobiographies when the subject is not even 21.

- Fashion guides by people with the GDP of a small country in the bank.

- Diet books by anybody who can't tip the see-saw in their favour against a large Christmas turkey.

- Anything sold in a christian bookstore that isn't a bible.
