i just got called up

can i get out of it anyhow, i am due to be the best man at a wedding in dec and i have to go to this.

Is it also true i dont get paid until afterwards and if so do they fully compensate me

its got me a bit worried, no dosh prior to xmas etc and my missus going on maternity leave soon
