Watched it last night,and the DVD extras.A fantastic action film,one of my favourites.Pretty mindless fun,but enthralling all the way through.The cast is great,with Bill Duke,Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura,not to mention Aaahnold.

The Predator costume itself is immense,definitely up there with the Alien design,and the special effects are way ahead of their time.

Funny story came out on the "making of" segment of the DVD.Some of the guys were incredibly competitive about running,weightlifting,physiques etc,especially Weathers,Arnold and Ventura.Anyways,Ventura was taking the piss out of the rest of them training to be special forces soldiers,when he was in fact an ex-Navy SEAL,and said that he'd not want to go to combat with any of them!

Arnold decided to play a joke on him,and told the costume department to make sure that Ventura's arm measurements were one inch bigger than his.Ventura thought this was hilarious,that his arms were bigger than Mr Olympias!!

Then,one day in the gym,he challenged Arnold to measure their arms to see whose were bigger,thinking that he knew his were bigger already.Whoever had the smaller arms would buy the other a bottle of champagne.

Of course Schwarzenegger won,his arms were three inches thicker.
