If we want to win the league

We can't be losing to clubs like Bolton.

 

Whatever the reason is, I don't know. But, we should be coming out of places like that with at least a draw.

 

We've still got a fair amount of catching up to do I'm afraid.

 

I love to be an optimist. I love to have hope for the season. I know we can go on a big winning tear. But, losing to that lot of rabble is just not on.

We won't win it this year unless Chelsea do far worse than last season.

We can still finish second though.

 

First away win to come in a couple of weeks.

We have far too many new players to be challenging this season. I said it from the start, it will take too long for the players to gel for us to be able to challenge this year.

Having said that, it is very worrying that we are losing 3-0 and 2-0 to clubs like Everton and Bolton.

I love to start threads when I am frustrated, happy about something, or have a strong opinion on something.

 

I think you'll find I don't start that many, but why let facts get in the way of your opinions?

The only hope we have is if we really man up and grind out results when we're 'better' than the opposition and the other challengers falter as well.

It doesn't make any difference what kind of clubs you lose to - if you want to win the league, you can't lose too many GAMES. Who gives a crap whether you lose to Bolton or Arsenal, as long as you have enough points to win the game? Chelsea lost to Man City last year, didn't hurt them too much.

We're 'allowed' to lose against the likes of Bolton and Toffifee but then we'll just have to beat Manure, Ar$e and Chel$ki (at home). As long as we don't drop too many points we'll be fine, as JonShar said.

 

We just need for Manure to drop some points too. Ar$e will drop against 'lower' teams (even at home) and Chel$ki don't look as strong as last year with Sheva struggling and Moanrinho keeps selecting him.

 

Let Manure drop points against the likes of Reading more often

 

But ..... we need to sort the f|_|ck out re. our away form. Abysmal!
