Jimmy Bullard for me.

 

He is the most easy going player in the league and the funniest to boot.

 

He may not be up their with the best but I am sure he could do a job and would be a certain fans favourite.

There was rumours that we were after Bullard, but he wanted to move back to London.

It's funny that Jimmy Bullard came into my mind as soon as I saw the title of your thread.

 

Apart from being a great player, he is also a great character. The type of player whom every team needs because they add something indefinable to the team that helps them to win things!

 

I would rate John Arne Riise as that type of player in our team - he's not the greatest defender, he's no midfielder because of his terrible one-footedness, but the team is never quite the same without him.
