He wouldn't be the first to come back after leaving - rushie. If he does come back rather it be sooner than later when he is still relatively young

We shouldn’t really be selling first team players unless there is a ready made replacement from either within or we have agreed to sign someone. As bad as gakpo has been we can’t keep selling experience and not replacing Diaz was big loss and not replaced even now. We have gone from having a very astute transfer setup to a clown show.

Yes they are in to to make money but I don't that these guys are onboarding to be silent partners - they will want to see their investment improve the best way for that to happen in football is winning. I don't think the club would be the value it is if we hadn't won the CL and 2 PL's etc. They will spend money but will likely be Jan / next summer not in 2 weeks. They will want structure in place first (hughes gone and replaced and what ever scouting needs implemented). Will give benefit of the doubt lets see how things develop. Aside from super league carry on I think fsg have generally been more positive than negative and have secured the club greatly from the position it was in under Hicks/Gillet.
