I know in the NFL it is the role of the general manager to identify and bring in talent, however Bill Bellichick [possibly the best coach in the NFL in the last 10 years] has a big say in who he wants to bring in: often these are "no-name" veterans who he somehow manages to get 150% out of where others have failed to get 100%. I think he and Rafa would be of similar standing in terms of identifying and attracting players. Kraft doesn`t seem to meddle, he gets the best people in place to do the job. His role would be to maximise the financial side of things, which i`m sure we all agree is NOT being done at the present. The question is, will UK football culture and particular Liverpool Football culture stand for the changes that may be required?
