  1. You should see him during england matches...at the start of every tournament you lot are worldbeaters and guaranteed winners. At the end of the tournament you have been cheated out of it by someone according to Ian-Wright-World. I think he "overindulges" a little too much...
  2. I don`t know if you followed the NBA at all, but Hakeem Olajuwon [sp.?] of the Houston Rockets was famous for playing throughout Ramadan every night and not being able to eat until after the games. His performances were definitely better after the fast ended [just in time for the important games!]
  3. cheers mate, very kind!
  4. can i be cheeky and ask for the same? york@eba-uk.net cheers ps; good day for me: my home town team Killie are up 4-1 so far ;-)
  5. I know in the NFL it is the role of the general manager to identify and bring in talent, however Bill Bellichick [possibly the best coach in the NFL in the last 10 years] has a big say in who he wants to bring in: often these are "no-name" veterans who he somehow manages to get 150% out of where others have failed to get 100%. I think he and Rafa would be of similar standing in terms of identifying and attracting players. Kraft doesn`t seem to meddle, he gets the best people in place to do the job. His role would be to maximise the financial side of things, which i`m sure we all agree is NOT being done at the present. The question is, will UK football culture and particular Liverpool Football culture stand for the changes that may be required?
  6. Kraft has to be the preferred option. They took a laughing stock of an NFL franchise and turned it into what the americans call a dynasty. The only stumbling block in my mind would be whether he would get public support for their methods. Having said that Robert Kraft does have respect for his integrity within the US sporting establishment...which is more than can be said for some of his peers. For example; Tampa Bay/Glazers success and approach might be compared to Blackburn Rovers in the mid 90`s. Randy Lerner/Cleveland Browns...ideally suited for Aston Villa [a once proud "franchise" have done nothing for decades and remain in comfortable obscurity. All in all if we were to get an NFL owner taking over the club we couldn`t pick a better one!

    KT R.I.P

Yep, i always got a load of pop-up installers and spyware on there. That`s why i stopped going, even though the gossip masquerading as news was good!
  8. why would anyone want Lucas Neill? The bloke is a red card waiting to happen...
  9. This sounds about right. I doubt there will be any major players incoming. Perhaps a youngster.
  10. i do remember "Killing an Arab" by The Cure was banned. Who was gonna be offended by that?
  11. Ahem, Gary Lineker anyone? What is it with Spurs--they are linked with almost every player that breathes and ALL the ones we are supposedly interested in. They must have signed 15 midfielders in the last two years...it`s like someone at their club plays a lot of championship manager. God knows where the cash comes from...
